TowerPoint has a heritage of over 40 years, based in the Thames Valley, Berkshire in the UK.
The original software that was written, called MAPS, was very much ahead of the game and many competitors wanted to buy it. Written for the AlphaMicro computer (similar to the Digital Equipment Co computers), the system was built from 1988, and was able to communicate across Europe to 8 offices, all being online at the same time so ensuring everybody could communicate online.
The system was completely re-written in 2000 to bring it up to the PC and Server machines, and has been constantly evolved over the years.
The Company employs professionals that cover Office services covering all aspects of running a HQ office coupled with the IT Services that include Web Design, Web Hosting with Customer Support, Domain Registration, and Software Development. TowerPoint has grown year-on-year and now boasts a considerable design and development team catering for the needs of a wide range of clients.
The system can now be provided from the Cloud, thereby making it much easier to implement. It is also being modified to allow Users to access it from effectively their own Web site.
The team will provide help and support for using Tiger-Eye.
